{{100th Post!}} November Sponsor Swap-Meet!!

One of the absolute BEST things about blogging is that it has given me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful like-minded women around the world who are simply sharing their stories in beautiful ways. In "honor" of my 100th post, I would like to honor some of these women, who have influenced and inspired my own journey.

1. How did you come up with the name for your blog? I simply came up with it because it sums up my desire: to find beauty in all of life's beautiful moments-- even the ordinary ones.

2. What is your favorite thing about blogging? The relationships that have formed because of it.

3. How has your style (artistic, fashion, writing, living...) evolved based on your blogging experience? I am more aware of the importance of getting dressed & pulled together every day because I never know when I'll snap a photo :) But in all seriousness, blogging has challenged me to be more courageous & confident in all aspects of my life: writing, living, styling. 

4. Who are your top blogging role-models and why/what have you learned by 'watching' them? Casey Wiegand is the biggest influence I've had. I work with her on a day to day basis as her assistant and she is not just an amazing blogger, but she's an incredibly genuine individual and truly is everything we see that she is online. She's an example of how transparency really does attract most readers to you. 

5. What is your greatest reward, and greatest challenge, about blogging? Reward: the relationships Challenge: no one knows how much time goes into blogging. It can be a full-time job. 

6. What are your personal goals for your blog/business in the near future? My personal goals are strictly to keep doing what I love and that's investing in the lives of others & writing what's on my heart. Starting in November, all monetary profits I bring in through sponsorships on my blog are going to help some friends of mine go to Cambodia on a mission's trip. Seeing my blog have more of a "purpose" has been incredible. Eventually, I'd love to open a blog design & Etsy business.

1. How did you come up with the name for your blog?
I've always been inspired by fashion & I am working on building my career as a designer. Needless to say.. fashion pretty much is my life. I started writing down some fashion terminology like, thread, buttons, spools, knit, exc. Then all of a sudden it just came to me. I knew "Threadesque" was the perfect name. I define it as a lifestyle inspired by fashion!

2. What is your favorite thing about blogging?
I spend a lot of time searching for inspiration. After a while, I built up so much and had an amazing collection. I wanted to share my inspiration with everyone and decided to start, Threadesque. Since then, I have found it has been a great experience and a wonderful way to share my ideas and connect with people that have the same interests!

3. How has your style (artistic, fashion, writing, living...) evolved based on your blogging experience?
I have always been told than I am very creative and fashion is something that I am very passionate about. After I started Threadesque, I've discovered several different people that have similar interests as me and I love sharing ideas with each other! Threadesque enables me to build upon my fashion and artistic side every day!

4. Who are your top blogging role-models and why/what have you learned by 'watching' them?
Laura from the blog, Violet Bella, is truly an inspiration. I love her style! She has a very successful blog & Etsy store.

5. What is your greatest reward, and greatest challenge, about blogging?
This may be a strange thing to say, but I absolutely love to see new followers and comments about what I post. It shows me that people actually care about what inspires me and it lets me know that I am good at it! My biggest challenge is being able to put my thoughts into words. My writing skills have never been very good because I've never really had the opportunity to write. I am slowly improving!

6. What are your personal goals for your blog/business in the near future?
I just started investing more time into Threadesque & RoseVintage, it's really paid off so far. I hope my blog and store continues to grow! Next year I am moving back to Michigan and plan to open a lifestyle store named, Threadesque!

1. How did you come up with the name for your blog? 
 It is a combination/variation of my children's names.

2. What is your favorite thing about blogging? 
 The wonderful community of woman I have met and get to share life with on a daily basis.

3. How has your style (artistic, fashion, writing, living...) evolved based on your blogging experience?  
I think I'm still evolving, but do see some changes such as I now wear headbands (it's all the rage, apparently, in blogland) and i think blogging has also helped me to take an honest look at my life's priorities and areas for improvement.  

4. Who are your top blogging role-models and why/what have you learned by 'watching' them?  
My favorite blogger is Casey Weigand---basically, I just LOVE everything about her--her style, her love for her family, her faith, her ability to make everyone feel CARED about, the time she has taken to return my emails, her beautiful photos/blog, and I could go on and on.  I think the biggest thing I've learned from her is to really be yourself and share your heart through telling your life's story.  

5. What is your greatest reward, and greatest challenge, about blogging?  
Greatest reward=blogging friends, Greatest challenge= keeping up with it all and balancing mommahood and laundry at the same time!

6. What are your personal goals for your blog/business in the near future?   
My nearest goal is to open The Hollie Rogue Shop (coming this Nov.!).

Blogging since: Just since October! But I've had private blogs for 7 years

1. How did you come up with the name for your blog?
 "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right,whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Philippians 4:8. It is what I wanted the heart of my blog to be about. We live in a dying world - one that slips further and further from the Lord - but I don't have to focus on that. I want hold up what is good and help others see or remember His goodness in the beautiful (or lovely) and noble things!

2. What is your favorite thing about blogging?
I love the creativity outlet that it is. I can write. I can post pictures. I can create layouts and buttons. It's exciting and fun for me to have after a long day. Plus I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. We all have a story to tell and each person's story is exciting and unique. It's their own. And nothing speaks to who we are and reminds us of where we come from than our story.

3. How has your style (artistic, fashion, writing, living...) evolved based on your blogging experience? As I mentioned above, I like to be creative. I had NO idea the vast amount of blogs that contain DIY projects and other fun projects that I can try out. And I love making my house more practical and invite-able - and the number of people I've seen transform their space into something artistic, yet elegant and practical amazes me and inspires me to do the same. 

4. Who are your top blogging role-models and why/what have you learned by 'watching' them?
Well before I knew of the blogging world I have following Kelle Hampton at Enjoying the Small Things, whose story I read about a year ago about the birth of her second daughter. She truly has a way with words and honesty and realness that I truly, truly have come to love and appreciate so much. Her perspective on life is incredible and inspires me to remember what I want to focus on in my life. The little moments that make up our lives - the small moments that touch our souls and leave us feeling renewed for a new day. She is a beautiful person and I hope to be as honest and as real as she is but never let go of what is good.

5. What is your greatest reward, and greatest challenge, about blogging?
My greatest reward is getting to know new people and hopefully building some new friendships with people in different walks of life or different areas of this big world. My greatest challenge is finding time to blog and being clear on what I want my blogs to be about. It's easier to get to the heart of what you want your blog to be about but the details in how to make that come across are a bit fuzzy. But I'm confident that I will learn as I go.

6. What are your personal goals for your blog/business in the near future?
 For the near future, it's pretty simple. I want to blog once a day and have a clear direction of where I am going. But long term, when I have children, I want to grow this into a business. I want to make crafts and share my life and experiences with others. I believe, I'll need this creative outlet the most during that time in my life! I'm excited for what this can be and humbled by being reminded that the Lord gives and takes away. We will see what the future has in store!

Blogging since: Technically since 2007, but Missus Robie just started in September!

1. How did you come up with the name for your blog? 
I was just married in August and my last name changed from Casper (I know...it was so cool...) to Robie. I decided to keep it simple, but make it a little different with spelling out Mrs. I'm very pleased with how it turned out and how it really is becoming my blogger identity! 

2. What is your favorite thing about blogging? 
Gosh, I absolutely LOVE DIY projects. Ask any of my friends and they'll tell you that when I see something more times than not the words out of my mouth are, "I could make this." There are SO many creative amazing women who have chosen to share their how-to's and I love browsing through them. I'm inspired by the stories of these women overcoming obstacles in their lives and hearing how, for many of them, God is doing amazing things through their lives and blogs.

3. How has your style (artistic, fashion, writing, living...) evolved based on your blogging experience?
I have become a lot more aware of creating a joyful experience out of something that I may have just overlooked before I started this show. I'm a storyteller and that's become more apparent through all of this. I'm encouraged to be who I am and offer all of me by the women who are now friends on this internet web of creative souls!

4. Who are your top blogging role-models and why/what have you learned by 'watching' them?
I find myself always checking for new updates on a few blogs: The Vintage Mixer (vintagemixer.com) she's a dear friend of mine who is Salt Lake City's foodie. She knows all the perfect restaurants and dives to try and I'm constantly mentioning her on twitter for quick references when I'm trying new things in my own kitchen. She has the BEST recipes for everyone, whether that be vegans, meat-lovers, vegetarians, or sugar-addicts. Definitely check her out!
I also am always checking Meredith over at Everything Espey (meredithandcharlie.blogspot.com) she's also a great friend of mine and has been married a few months more than me. I find encouragement in her posts about figuring out some of this marriage nonsense and am able to walk alongside the same findings with her. It's so nice having a friend who loves the Lord and her husband and being able to talk about things surrounding those two things that are relevant and current in both our lives. 

5. What is your greatest reward, and greatest challenge, about blogging? 
My greatest reward is making new friends! I so far have had such a great experience with the ladies I'd connected with through email and deeper than just a follow! It's so amazing to me how we can all be interconnected through something as miniscule as an "online journal". My greatest challenge has definitely proven to be clearly defining the purpose and mission of this whole thing and making it more a priority to offer something to others than get caught up with what I can take and how I can get more 'followers' or look cool. 

6. What are your personal goals for your blog/business in the near future?
I want this blog to be a central hub for the creative avenues I venture in including my personal walk with Christ and the daily grind of marriage, ministry and life in Utah, my videography business, my soon-to-be released greeting card line and my accessory shop. I like having a central place where all that I contribute to the world, both as an individual of society and what I create, can be found. I often find myself moving from one great idea to the next or being warned about that candle, and burning both ends, because I want to do so much and sometimes end up doing nada. My hope is that this blog becomes the outlet for all that I dream about. And what are dreams if they aren't shared for others to be encouraged, edified and inspired if at all possible?

1. How did you come up with the name for your blog?: My life message is to encourage others to pursue God's big dream for their lives and not to settle for anything less than His best.  Ephesians 3:20

2. What is your favorite thing about blogging?: Improving as a writer, building an online community, sharing my faith even while being a SAHM

3. How has your style (artistic, fashion, writing, living...) evolved based on your blogging experience?: I'm learning to develop my personal voice as a writer.  I'm first a motivational speaker, and second a writer...blogging has helped me improve my writing.

4. Who are your top blogging role-models and why/what have you learned by 'watching' them?: Kelle Hampton - she blogs so honestly, and without being too theme-y/cheesy.  I really love all of her photos as well.  Her blog is just beautiful - in every way.

5. What is your greatest reward, and greatest challenge, about blogging?: Greatest challenge is not getting caught up in the numbers game.  I blog for the glory of God and I want his name to be made known, not my own. 
6. What are your personal goals for your blog/business in the near future?: I want to build a community on my blog, a place where I can share my book when it's out (in the new year) and offer encouragement and practical tools for other to feel empowered to pursue their big dreams with God.
